The Design

Pushpa Tara Kanthe — meaning “a garland of flowers and stars” — draws its architecture from classical Indian ornamental vocabulary reinterpreted in a bold, sculptural register. The full length of the necklace is composed of articulated quatrefoil flower links in warm 22k Gold Plated, each joined by a small textured rondelle bead and hung with a delicate aquamarine briolette drop. The resulting silhouette is dense, rhythmic, and alive with colour — the pale blue-green of the aquamarine catching light at every interval along the chain.

At the centre, a large oval turquoise cabochon sits in an ornate gold mount flanked by symmetrical scrolled volute horns — a detail drawn from ancient South Asian and Mughal decorative metalwork. Below the focal stone, a deeply ribbed and fluted gold lantern pendant descends in a bold drop, finished at its tip with a final aquamarine briolette.
