The Design

Vaidurya Muktaphala Haar, meaning “a garland of lapis and pearl,” brings together two of the oldest stones in the Indian jewellery tradition in a single continuous strand. The deep cobalt-blue of the lapis lazuli and the soft cream lustre of the freshwater pearls alternate across the full length of the necklace, framed at every interval by ornate antique-gold filigree rondelle bead caps with granulation detailing.

Seven hand-finished 22k Gold Plated charms hang freely from the strand: an engraved teardrop pendant at the centre front serves as the focal element, flanked by two geometric diamond-rhombus charms, two flat shield-triangle charms, and two veined leaf charms distributed across the piece. The charms move independently, adding depth and movement when worn. The necklace closes with a spring ring clasp and a textured oval-link extender chain, with a single cushion-cut lapis lazuli bead at the tip of the extender — a considered detail that completes the composition.
