The Design

Haritamani Haar — meaning “the garland of the green jewel” — is a study in considered contrast: the deep, saturated emerald of faceted green onyx set against the warm, organic lustre of baroque freshwater pearls, all suspended on warm 22k Gold Plated chains. Two chains run in parallel at different lengths, creating a natural layered drop without the need for a layering clasp. The upper strand is a fine rolo chain punctuated at intervals by small baroque freshwater pearls threaded directly onto the chain — a delicate, understated foundation that draws the eye downward.

The lower strand is a bold hammered oval-link rolo chain, weightier in presence and proportion. At its centre hangs a faceted green onyx teardrop/shield cabochon — deep forest green, semi-translucent, with the characteristic clarity that distinguishes quality green onyx. Below the onyx, a large baroque freshwater pearl drop hangs freely as the final element — its irregular, natural form and luminous cream surface providing a deliberate counterpoint to the precise geometry of the stone above.
