The Design

Vaidūryaśaṅkha — meaning “the turquoise shell” — pairs two forms that share the same coastal, elemental origin: the shell and the sea-blue stone. The stud top is a cast gold scallop shell in full three dimensions — its surface worked with deeply ribbed radiating texture from a central apex, each rib sharp and precisely defined, the outer edge cut in the characteristic serrated fan silhouette of the scallop.
