The Design

Vyāghramālā — meaning “the tiger’s garland” — is a necklace of exceptional material and compositional complexity. The strand is a continuous run of multi-tourmaline faceted rondelle beads — tiny, precisely cut, uniformly sized — their colour shifting across the full tourmaline spectrum from pale mint and aqua through forest green, teal, deep pink, warm rose, grey, and near-black as the eye travels around the strand. No two sections of the strand read the same colour; the whole necklace is a moving, chromatic study in the natural spectrum of a single mineral family.
